Take your tasting notes, using the checkboxes to note delivery method (cone, dish, float, milkshake, sandwich, etc.). Use the texture meter to memorialize the cream's consistency from dense to light. You can rate your scoop on a standard five-star scale, andrecord any other impressions with five lines of free note-writing space.
A teeny, tiny amount of real ice cream is added to the ink in each new edition, which is cryptically noted on the back.
Nothing makes ice cream taste better than a finish of technicolor sprinkles. To pay tribute to these tiny delights, my ice cream journals are bound with perfectly pink staples, which look more than a little like sprinkles (aka "jimmies" for you East Coast types). And just in case you're thinking about it, the staples aren't edible.
33 Scoops is made with 100% recycled papers sourced in the Pacific Northwest. Interior pages are 100% post-consumer recycled content and covers are 85% post-consumer recycled content and 15% recycled content. The booklets are printed using US-grown soy-based inks in sunny Portland, Oregon.
