What's your favorite season? Fall! It's a time of change, but it's a welcome change. After the heat of summer, I welcome the cool days and crisp nights of autumn.
Did you have a favorite type of toy as a child? Art kits! I love to create, but I also like having boundaries. An art kit lets me dabble in something new and provides a path to go deeper if I desire.
What are your favorite toys at Clover? Hula Hoops or Rainbow Wands. Anytime someone picks them up to try, I get to see their joy and often laughter, whether things go right or not.
How about books? All of them and I'm serious! Since I get to choose them for the store, there isn't a book I don't love.
You can read about Brittney's Clover Toys story here.

What's your favorite season? Winter. I like to wear big comfy sweaters, and when it's cold outside it's the perfect opportunity to bundle up. I also like the feeling of curling up under a blanket with a warm drink when it's chilly or snowy outside.
Did you have a favorite type of toy as a child? I would play for hours on end with various building toys of all kinds. I had a very large Lego collection, but would also enjoy making scenes with wooden building blocks.
What are your favorite toys at Clover? My favorite toys we have are the building blocks from Plus-Plus. They're very fun interlocking block sets that you can use to make all kinds of fun things, from llamas to rocket ships, and are great for building 3D sculptures or flat images. And because they use one shape for all of their blocks, storing and sorting the pieces is very easy.
How about books? My favorite book we have right now is "What is Given from the Heart" by Patricia C. McKissack. It's a bittersweet story about how reaching out with empathy during hard times can make connections with people that will not only help them but help yourself during life's hard times.
What's your Clover Toys story? I have been at Clover Toys since 2014. I love being able to work in a store that brings so much joy to the people that come through, and it's also great to sell toys that I think are neat and could see myself enjoying, either when I was young or now working in the shop.

What's your favorite season? As long as I can cool off, Summer is my favorite. I love the long, hot days, cool mornings, and the buzz of activity in local gardens.
Did you have a favorite type of toy as a child? I probably spent as much time making toys as playing with them. My favorites to play with were tool sets, dinosaurs, wooden toys, and a doll that I had to beg for and still cherish. I was also a huge fan of play tents.
What are your favorite toys at Clover? I love all of our wooden toys, trains, dolls, and dinosaurs. My favorites to recommend are the Moulin Roty Story Book Lamps, which are very special and appeal to everyone, and our dolls, which I believe are important toys for children of all genders to develop empathy, self-awareness, and communication.
How about books? "Amu Nowruz and His Violets" by Hadi Mohammadi, "Cornrows" by Camille Yarbrough, and "Kapaemahu" by Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu, Dean Hamer, & Joe Wilson, are all truly special stories for me and I encourage everyone to read them.
What's your Clover Toys story? When I moved to Seattle, I looked for a store with classic toys and found Clover Toys before I even had furniture! It was sort of love-at-first-sight. During the pandemic, Brittney saved a couple of holidays by delivering toys to our doorstep. Five years later, I had the opportunity to join the team and I'm excited to work with everyone to expand our sustainability initiatives and events programming, as well as deepen our community connections.

What's your favorite season? Fall is the most beautiful time of year in Seattle. I love the cool crisp clear days.
Did you have a favorite type of toy as a child? I was a Lego kid; I liked following the instructions but also the stories you could tell with the sets when they were built.
What are your favorite toys at Clover? My favorites to recommend are the Makala ukuleles but my favorites to play with are classic kinetic toys, like kendama and Jacob's ladder.
How about books? I love the classic Peter Rabbit stories; my mother read them to me when I was young.
What's your Clover Toys story? I started working at Clover in 2017, when Brittney purchased the store.

What's your favorite season? Late spring. It’s warm and sunny but not too hot; the parks are busy and the city is coming back to life after the dark, rainy Winter days. The trees are green and the flowers are blossoming. It really makes the Seattle winters worth it.
Did you have a favorite type of toy as a child? Building toys. My brother and I would make buildings and roads with Legos, wooden blocks, and just about anything else we could add (from Tupperware to books). Once it was complete, we’d combine our trucks and dolls (both of which would talk) to create a city.
What are your favorite toys at Clover? I love practically anything from Moulin Roty. My current favorite is Baba the Bear from their Les Minouchkas collection; it might just be the most adorable stuffed bear I’ve ever seen.
How about books? "A Forest Song" by Kirsten Hall and Evan Turk. With its vibrant swirling illustrations and lyrical story telling, this book feels just like a walk through the forest. A great pick for nature lovers, both kids and adults alike.
